Story
Main Station Building - Museum
The lovely cut stone buildings were the main reception area, office and waiting rooms for the Great northern railway (GNR). The reception area was originally two separate waiting rooms, with one for the general public and another (with toilet) for ladies holding first class tickets.
Behind the reception desk is the ticket office, leading to the Station Master's office, which had a connecting door to his home.
